Third Place Technologies, in partnership with PublicDisplay.Art, invites artists, creative technologists, and other members of the PNW art + technology community to join us for Electric SEA, an arts/tech creative hackathon and pop-up art exhibition March 26–29, 2026, in Seattle.

Building on the momentum of our recent PNW Arts and Tech Symposium and over a decade of Electric SKY events in Skykomish, WA, Electric SEA is a weekend event optimized for hands-on learning, knowledge sharing and collaboration here in Seattle.

The event will feature a pop-up maker lab throughout the halls of PublicDisplay.Art and the ArtLove Salon, with meetups, workshops, and breakout collaboration sessions, with the evening exhibition in the ArtLove Salon event space.

  • Lab/projects install: Thursday, March 26
  • Hackathon + workshops: Friday–Saturday, March 27–28
  • Show-and-tell exhibition + art salon: Saturday evening, March 28
  • Takedown: Sunday, March 29

In the spirit of hackathons, Electric SEA is an opportunity to build new skills and forge meaningful connections through shared experimentation. Whether you’re creating with code, interactive installations, data visualization, physical computing, generative systems, mixed reality, vibe coding, or AI-powered creative tools, we hope you’ll join us.

We thank the Conru Foundation, 4Culture, and the ArtsFund Community Accelerator program for their support making this event possible.
